We KNOW we don't always have it all together, but we KNOW that TOGETHER we have it ALL.

Wyoming Visit
This last week the kids and I had the great opportunity to go to Wyoming to visit the family! Unfortunately Jon had to work and wasn't able to join us this time around. We sure did miss having him there with us! I had several pictures to share so I figured videos were best. The car ride was long, but the kids did great! Kristian LOVED helping Grandpa Brad move rocks, dig dirt, dig carrots out of the garden, hammer, clean the fish tank... you name it, he probably helped Grandpa do it. Now... the Tractor was another thing. The first day all Kristian could do is stand back and look at it and watch Grandpa drive it around. Day 2: we were putting dirt and rocks into the front, but still observing from a safe distance. Day 3: he was driving that thing around like a pro and having a great time! I think the next time he won't be so shy to get on and get going! Thanks Grandpa for a fun few days!! We loved it!
Thanks Mom for doing a Scentsy Party, and thanks for all your help with the kids. It was so nice to come visit and spend a few days! Addison had a great time too, Mom realized just how little she eats and how frustrating that is... she did take a few steps and for sure by our next visit out there Addison will be on the run!

Having Fun With Sister!
It's fun now that Addison is getting bigger to watch how they both interact. I think at times Kristian has a hard time now that Addison can somewhat fight back. The other day she wacked him in the head with one of his trucks and just smiled. He had a look of shock and horror and wasn't too sure how to respond. All he could do is say "Addison Hit Me" Its about time Addison fights back for all the torture she went through when she was too little.
It is fun to watch them play! I love it! So cute and I can't imagine my days without the laughter of my children! What a joy it is to be able to spend so much time with these precious little kids! I love them! I had a video to go along with this, but I couldn't get it to load. So, if I figure it out I'll get it put on here.
Watching Football!
There's nothing like watching a little football to quiet down your kids before bed! Kristian LOVES to watch football with Dad. Tanslation: "Gem mim" = "Get Him".. Then you'll hear him say "Go Utes!" (which we were watching an NFL team I think... then he'll say "Try Again" and "Touchdown".. So funny to watch him! I love it!

The Dentist!
Yesterday was Kristians first visit to the DENTIST! He did amazing!! He was so brave and I'm grateful that his first experience went so well! They first took his picture to have in their file, then he sat in the chair and watched a little movie about puppies that go to the Dentist for the first time. Then he let the Dental Assistant look in his mouth, and brush/polish his teeth. He even let her floss! Then when the Dentist, Dr. Quayle (best dentist ever!!) came in, Kristian seemed a little scared at first, but then let Dr. Quayle look in his mouth and check his teeth.
Thats it! Simple as ever! NO CAVITIES!! Lets hope we can keep it that way! Kristian was super excited to get a new toothbrush and toothpaste, plus they sent him home with a video we can watch on the computer! His favorite part was picking a "PRIZE" out of the basket, and he chose a water gun. (such a boy).. I'm so proud of you Kristian! You did a great job and you were so brave! I love you!

Utah vs Oregon State
Ok, so I'm a little late posting this one. Jon and I have season tickets to the University of Utah UTES!! We love it and I'm thinking season tickets will become routine.. I don't think we could sit any season out.
Last Thursday Utah played Oregon State, it was a great game, a little close, and I really thought Utah was going to through it away! The last 2 minutes of the game changed everything and Utah came away with the win! Fun game! Fun times! Looking forward to the next game and especially the most anticipated game come November when Utah takes on their biggest rival BYU! That will be an incredible game to be at! I'm sure I'll post about that one!!

Everyone Has Fears
Ok, so I know that every person out there is afraid of something. Afraid of heights, afraid of flying, afraid of the dark... and there are people like me: afriad of spiders! The creepy little things just ... eeww!!!
So I've been telling Jon for months that we need to get our house sprayed for Spiders and bugs, but since we seeded out back yard this summer we weren't allowed to do that for a certain amount of time. I've heard many of my friends, neighbors state that they have seen Tarantulas (the biggest, scariest of those creatures) in the Eagle Mountain area. Um... Can I move??!!
Ok.. so my story isn't that scary, but its scary enough for me! Today when I got home I was unloading the car, got the mail, picked the package off the porch and as I was coming back in the garage I noticed something black crawl back in its web behind some wood in our garage! (Creepy suckers!) So I look, ever so carefully and notice that it is a HUGE Black Widow Spider! Naturally I'd make Jon kill it, but wouldn't you know it.. he's at work! Of course I have to protect my children, so I know I've got to kill it before it decides to move into my house...so I call Jon freaking out asking him what I can do (I'm crying mind you.. I'm about to challenge the thing I'm most afraid of) and I'm yelling at Jon to make an appointment to get our house sprayed!! He gives me some suggestions and I eventually calm down and put on my "Brave Face".
Of course... my mom calls to check in and I then tell her that I'm about to challenge the creepiest thing known to man and I'm afraid he's going to jump on me and attack!! (ok, so I know I'm being dramatic, but its a legitimate fear and that is really kind of how I felt...so stop laughing at me)... Deep Breath... and GO!
Yep! I killed the spider!! I was too afraid to squish it, thought about hitting it with the shovel, but what if I missed and then he lunged at me, so I found some other bug killer spray and made a nice little swimming pool as I drenched him in the spray! Its rotten little corpse is now waiting for Jon to get home so it can be properly disposed of. Even when dead I can't be anywhere near them!
Yes...it was a risky situation, and touch and go there for a minute, but sometimes, despite how much we are afraid we have to put on that "Brave Face" and conquer the most fearsome creatures ever! I'm brave and I should definitely be rewarded for my valiant efforts! I killed the spider! Yuck!
(ok..for the record, I've killed spiders before, but the little tiny ones that can't eat you!)
Ok... now I'm officially done rambling...let the jokes, and the laughing begin for all of you who think my little panic attack is a little ridiculous! Thanks!
