Happy 4th of July!!

What a busy and FUN 4th of July!!! It was also the weekend of my 10 year High School Reunion!! Yeah me!!! We dropped the kids off and headed to Little America in the middle of nowhere Wyoming and had dinner with old class mates. It was fun to see those who decided to attend. Can't believe how quickly that 10 years has passed.

Ok... July 4th... a fun weekend in Wyoming! We...

Played on the swings...

Helped Grandpa get some work done in the yard...

Found some goose eggs...

Played baseball in the yard...

Fed the horses... a lot!!

We played games...

Hilbilly Uncle Dallin grilled steaks, kabobs, and hotdogs...

We did drive to Evanston hoping for some fireworks, but we were a day early for the towns celebration...but we drove to the ballpark and there were enough people setting off their own fireworks that we got to see quite an impressive display of fireworks. The kids were nervous at first but loved watching the fireworks light up the sky!!

We came home from Wyoming on Sunday. Monday we took the kids to see:

Then I sent the kids with Dad to hang out with Grandpa Tall, then Grandma Cindy met me at the theaters and we saw...

We then went out to dinner as a family to celebrate Grandpa Tall's birthday, which was July 3rd. It was a very busy, but very FUN 4th of July weekend. What better way to celebrate our country and our FREEDOM than with family. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!!

Hogle Zoo

This was our first trip to Hogle Zoo for the summer! We were eager to go because we had not yet seen the new baby elephant.

This elephant was celebrating it's 50th birthday! She is the oldest elephant still in captivity I guess. They drew a big 5-0 on the ground with popcorn and had a lot of other fun treats and toys for her to play with. It was fun watching her use her trunk to eat her treats.

This is the cute little baby elephant... I honestly can't remember her name, but it was fun to see her.

Let's Go See Dad

Just a random stop by the fire station to see Dad. They had brought down this really cool old fire truck to use in the parade for July 4th. Of course I didn't have my camera with me, so I took these pictures with my phone. Sorry they're not the best quality.

Game Over

Kristian's T-ball season has come to an end. (ok, so it ended about 2 weeks ago) The coach was nice and let Addie put on a jersey and hat and play too. I LOVE THESE PICTURES!! Kristian was so cute with her and coached her on exactly what to do!

The jersey looks more like a dress, but she did great! Only lasted 1 inning, but that just goes to show she's not quite ready for that type of commitment.

Kristian was so happy and proud to get his medal. He also got a certificate and a ticket to a Bee's Game! We are so proud of you Kristian for doing such a wonderful job at t-ball this year! We love you!!
