It was time to go to the salon for an update. My hair was in need of some touch-ups as my regrowth was getting a little out of control. So as I was scanning through some pictures to get some ideas of what I might want to do, I came across a hairstyle that I loved...so I embraced change and I LOVE IT!!

Cast is off!!
Addie was super brave!! We went in to get her cast off, and they had to do x-rays AGAIN.. but she sat down and put her arm up there and knew exactly what to do. It was cute!!
When it came time to actually take the cast off Addie did amazing!! She sat on my lap so good and just watched as they cut off her cast. The doctor was impressed and said she was the best little kid he's seen...most kids cry even at the sight and sound of the cast being cut off.
Addie cried a little once it was off and the pins were still in. You can see me holding her arm in place until the other doctor came in. We waiting only seconds and all they did was take the dressing off from around the pins, held on to her arm and used pliers to pull the pins out. They came out easily and Addie barely cried. They bled a bit so she had her elbow bandaged up again.. but thats it!! She's done!
What an adventure this has been... I think we have learned a lot but have coped with this in great fashion. I'm amazed at how tough kids are and how quickly they adapt. My little Addison is so brave and strong and I'm so proud of her!
