Cast Off? Yes or No

Tomorrow is the big day.. Addie goes in to get her cast off tomorrow!! Yeah!! Mom is very excited as the bathing process has been a little difficult with it on. We've been asking Addison the last couple of days if we can take her cast off and she says "MO!" aka "NO!".. she like it! Every time we have asked her if we can take off her pink cast, she says no! She wants to keep it!

She was so cute! She loved letting people write on her cast and would hold very still so they could. She thought it was great!!

Kids amaze me! Her cast didn't slow her down even a little. She still played hard, took falls, and did her very best to keep up with Kristian.

The Car Show

Ok. . So as usual, I'm a little late posting these. Every year we go to The Car Show at the South Town Expo Center.. This year we decided to take Kristian with us.. he had a great time.

Addie's Cast

I apologize. I am very very late posting this!! Addison went on January 7th to get her cast. We get there only to find out that they don't take our insurance (GREAT!!) We'll have to see how we can work that one out... Anyway, she had to get x-rays again, but she did great. She wanted a pink cast, and lucky her, she got the last one. Give the girl a sucker and we're good to go. Addison was great! She sat still like a good girl the entire time!

Addison is a tough little girl. She has tolerated the cast extremely well and it hasn't slowed her down in the slightest! We have all been signing her cast, and unfortunately I didn't take an updated picture of that before I decided to blog. So I'll post that later.
Addie will get her cast off and the 2 pins removed from her elbow at her appointment on January 28th...more pictures at that time. We are so proud of Addison and how brave and strong she has been throughout this entire thing. She is an amazing little girl. We love you Addison!!
